I cried so much throughout the last half hour of the DS9 finale. Probably the best series finale I've ever seen.

As Vic finishes the song, the camera then shows the crowd. Watch as Ira Behr turns and toasts the cast. My all time favorite Trek moment.

Yeah, after all that, I'd hoped that we would get to see the crew of Voyager actually on Earth...
Yeah, the poker with Picard was a good scene :) I've never seen the TNG movies, so that is why to me it seems like the end wasn't very good :)

I agree, the end of DS9 was the best. I think they didn't cap TNG like that because they had plans for the films. I think Nemesis was really the true end of TNG, with Riker and Troi leaving, etc. The poker scene with Picard during the finale was really good though :). The ending of VOY was really disappointing :/.

I think that DS9's finale is loved because it truly feels like the end. You see what actually happens to the characters unlike TNG or VOY. The end of TNG just felt (to me anyway) like another series finale.Voyager was disappointing-they went through all that and we didn't get to see them reach Earth. Not knocking VOY or TNG-I like both shows.But the point is DS9 felt like the end. It was the end of the journey with this crew; that's what I loved about DS9,it was always so true to its characters.

I love this series. Everytime I see this scene I start bawling my eyes out. I wish DS9 didn't have an end.
