@te4888 I'm not going to quibble over whom I was ABLE to reply to. If I had seen the "light skinned rules" comment I would very well had replied to that person instead. And NO I do not feel any guilt for liking light skinned men over dark. As I said it is a personal preference.

@Maggio20th ooooooookay. you obviously misread my comment. and why reply to me? why not reply to the person with the "light skin rules" comment? i don't know. do you feel guilty for liking light over dark skin or something? yes christopher is fine, but not better than any dark skinned man. that's basically all i was trying to say. i mean get a grip.

@te4888 As a female, I do prefer my men to be light-skin. Christopher basically is what I find attractive. It's more of a personal preference than having a strong disliking against one because he or she is dark skin. My mother is light-skinned while my father is dark-skinned. I fall somewhere in between. I know what I like and it has nothing to do with self hate nor how society has stigmatized us a Black people. He is still just as fine today as he was yesterday.

@WeeklyMedia well you know we're in the new millennium and some black folks still think like the 1800s. with their username being what it is, they're definitely black. and there are dark skinned women who are equally sexy to beyonce, halle, lisaraye, etc. but you have not only white folks favoring light skin, but also black folks who hate themselves. honestly as a brown skinned woman, i always feel inferior to lighter skinned women. but this is somethin i need to work on. we all need to.

What does his complexion have to do with anything? In any event, I thought that the "Not a Perfect Man" CD was amazing from beginning to end, but to each his or her own. That CD really flew under the radar and clearly did not get the push and promotion it needed and deserved.
