on September 11th 1927, Al made his first solo recording with full label credit. This was ''Say, Mister! Have You Met Rosie's Sister?'' for Hommochord, and was accompanied by his own uke and Edgar Adeler at the piano.
The photo shows an early cartoonist's impression of Al.
In the next part, I'll be sharing Al Bowlly's first British recording when he arrived in London.
