The 2009 7-6 Wyoming Cowboys were lead by Austyn Carta-Samuels, the Mountain West Conference Freshman of the Year. The Cowboys beat rival Colorado State to take back the Bronze Boot, and they defeated Fresno State of the Western Athletic Conference to win the 2009 New Mexico Bowl!
