It was ridiculous how the U.S. media went along with the Reagan Administration's hype and portrayed Qaddafi as a monster who was obsessed with destroying the United States. The U.S. media made Qaddafi seem like the Ayatollah Khomeini + Saddam Hussein x 10. I even remember it being reported on the news that Libyan agents were going to sneak across the U.S.-Mexico border to assassinate Reagan. It was all nonsense. Libya was never a threat to the United States. Reagan's bombing of Libya was wrong.

The reality is that Reagan bombed Libya for no reason. Reagan claimed that Libyan agents set off a bomb at a Berlin disco in 1986 that killed two U.S. military personnel. It was later proven that Libyan agents had nothing to do with the 1986 Berlin disco bombing.

hi im libyan from benghazi..yes gadaffi did take over libya but it was definitly for the better he has made libya a better place.he has been giving free education health and homes.i mean what an amazing leader and yes ur all right about him being able to say what is needed to nb sed these days
