@kainthevampireduck Am not to sure about that. Black music was emerging those days and it would have just been a matter of time before guitar god Jimi Hendrix came to the scene. I'm not saying the world would be not be poorer without the Beatles. Their contribution can hardly be undermined. I just made a simple statement -- American rock is better. That's all. Who influenced it and how is irrelevant

@namitgee there wouldn't be "american rock" as you know it if it wasn't for The Beatles, classick 50's rock was dead in the early 60's, there wouldn't have been a revolution in music if it wasn't for them taking rock and other styles and inventing something completly different that inspired other artists in the 60s.
