do you think Tom Petty might have been a MASSIVE Byrds fan?

Terrific cover but one question........are those ladies real or fake??? It sounds so stupid, but I notice they move but they look like mannequins.

Ok, allow me to add that decorative "huntresses" are corny as well--and a little insulting toward women at that. I would prefer the Byrds performing a la carte without all the little corny extras. Just me.

The Byrds always cover Dylan songs:D

Did Bob dylan cover a bunch of byrds songs or was it the other way around?

@LTF6161 It's a great, timeless song; the Byrds do the original version justice, and this clip is a joy to watch.....but you're really going to single out the Michael Landon intro as a "corny" element? I think the sexy faux huntresses and the fake fauna are at least equally as "corny". IMO it's more charming with all corn left in. The lesson here for all modern meat-dress wearing pop stars is that a good song needs little adornment.

@tennis11ish You know...byrds, hunting dogs...it is pretty lame though...

I never have seen a sentry in front of a band playing . Never.

It's a very weird fashion statement...

Thanks for cutting the corny Michael Landon intro.

@LTF6161 His intro really was an insult to the Byrds and the song, I felt. I might post the complete show , Then It will be in . But I wont remove this version.
