Putting the Finishing Touches on "The Cheshire Cat"

People ask me all the time about what I am thinking when i paint something like Night Life or Gwandoya.... and I am sure they will say the same about My Cheshire Cat. As the artist, I get to watch that moment... those moments that the soul comes into a piece. So many people will see this and only think dark thoughts, and actually, I probably intended it that way; but for me the end of a painting is always magical, my paintings become alive, and they are part of me, and I always feel a tenderness.
