@tylervollan i dunno about that, i once pulled up a huge rock crab and a dungeness about the same size and no shyt, i watched as the dungeness grabbed hold of the rock crabs larger claw and just crushed it... i felt pretty bad for it but they both ended up as dinner so they both lose lol

as long as rock crab stay in defense i dont think dungeness can lay a scratch on it. speed means nothing if your offense/defense are weaker than your opponent. and dungeness do not have any advantage to break rock crab's defense.

red rock crab would own in a fight
red rock's have large large pinchers for their size. a 4 inch red rock will have more muscular claws than a 7 inch dungeness.
however, the legs of a red rock are its primary disadvantage. the dungenes crab is a much fast navigater than the red rock. red rocks have little to no meat in their legs, while dungess have very muscular legs.

One of the best places too. But I hate it when people at embarcadero lift your crab rings at night and take your crab! I go out further into the bay on my uncles boat to drop off our crab cages, but apparently people take your crab that way too.

in a real physical fight I dont think dungeness crab would stand a chance. rock crab had more thicker reenforce armor than dungeness crab. but since this vid is about a juvanile rock rock vs a full grown adult dungeness crab. I'd take dungeness crab.
