  • This is a great book rig - I am using Cinema 4d and would like to make a rig like this ... it would be so helpful. What are you using to model and rig this? Would you have any idea how to do this in Cinema?

  • @MrGrayhem Hi, this was modeled and rigged in Maya. I started a tutorial that I was never able to finish. Although, I was able to note down the concepts needed to come up with the kind of deformations typical with books, in those I've had in the tutorial. And if you have Maya you could download the rig from my site and deconstruct it. Cheers!

  • Hey I tried look at the tutorials and the website is down, Is there any other way to see them?

  • @drderude1 sorry for slow reply! - I have not as yet attempted this rig, but i have a project in mind for it so if you are doing one and you've got any tips then I'd be interested!

I like the way that the Maya rig has a lot of control over the way it could be animated. Id really like the know how of how this could be done in cinema4d?

  • @MrGrayhem Did you ever create that book, because I'm trying the same thing.

  • Amazing !

  • Nice rig. Would be keen to know how you made it. Books are really one of the tricky things to rig and yours is a nice rig.
