That is a mouth full! Basically a strategy on canceling your jump Drive attack with landing recovery. This will allow you to start off with any Chain Revolver attack when you land, giving your attack string more variety and options.

  • Heh heh, funny to see Jin eat dirt so many times 2:20. I wonder if this works in Continuum Shift Extend. Are there many differences from Calamity Trigger to CSE?

  • @Believeit8 The properties and effects of her drive moves have changed a lot. But you can still do everything you see here on CSE as well.

  • question... how do u do landing recovery?? now wait, when the fuck do i press d when she lands??? i try to do it but can't figure it out... do i press d right b4 she lands??? i am noob so i have no idea wut u r talkin bout when u say landing recovery.. do u have to press sumthin else b4 pressing d??

  • @ninjaboy1111 Late reply but oh well. After you do the jump D really close to the ground, she'll land instead of doing her jump D. But you are still in Drive mode (You know? When she glows blue and all?). Immediately afterwards input any drive attack and she'll doing it. For example Spring Raid.

  • tried this in CS and it doesn't work, did they fix it or maybe have i done it wrong?

  • @FohLenEinje1 BNB combos are Bread and Butter combos which you usually end with Bloom Trigger. I did a slightly shorter version of this combo at 2:02 into this video against Ragna. Bloom Trigger is that last attack you see in her combo. As for 6B, it means to press Forward + B button. If you look at your number pad on your keyboard each number represents a direction (8 is up, 2 is down, 5 is neutral, 3 is down forward, etc). Flash Kick is another name for Spring Raid.

  • @guambombboy *Opens up manual, realizes how new it still smells, looked for Flash Kick, ground tech, BNB, 6B....failed*

Aha! After a few minutes of research, I finally get it. So it goes BNB, Bloom Trigger, Jump, then "Cancelled" Flash Kick right?

I've been experimenting a little too. I'm having trouble with Cancelling Bloom Trigger, so I added a 3A before it. I like the way it covers a lot of ground but what do you think? I didn't notice any invicibility frames either. Any thoughts?

  • @FohLenEinje1 Personally, I use flash kick to bait my opponents to attack. I'll jump in and use it on them while they ground tech from a BNB combo ending with Bloom Trigger. They'll get hit if they try to mash attack or throw. Use Assault Through in the same manner to bait Dragon Punches, or Distortion Drives. And mix it up by using 6B (Drive) and throw.

  • XD Accidentally discovered this technique by myself and I was like O.o! Anyone know of any good vids that show this technique in actual matches?

  • Aha~ This should give my sparring partners a run for their money! ;-)
