10 Month Old - Update

He's a boy... they laugh, are dirty, are here to make us laugh. 10 months. He's ADORABLE. Does he sign cat? Why does he have the hearing muffle? And how did ya'll know he had that problem?

@delicatepuzzle He has fluid stuck in his ears from an ear infection. He had a hearing test following the infection.

What are you doing for his eczema? My son is also 10 1/2 months old and has it as well. Many on his lower back where his diaper covers him.

@fedyshynfam use a mixture of Eucerin & Hydrocortizone

@fedyshynfam We switched to cloth diapers and that took care of his back/belly/thighs. We use Eucerin *sp?* lotion, hydrocortizone & neosporin mixture on his leg which is now the one spot it remains.

we used cortizone problems on our son. Don't do it. cortizone products hurt tooth developement we were told by our dentist. It led to tooth problems when he got older.

It's okay for him to say /ca-/ for /cat/ at this age. Babies will make approximations for words and often the last consonant will be left off. When he says his just model back the correct word and repeat, repeat, repeat!

Our son has eczema and we use a product called vanicream from walgreens the stuff is amazing! We also use Pampers Sensitive diapers....love them! What a sweet boy you have.
