Nice little hack. I must do that.
I've put a video up on my channel of the Bliptronic and the VL-tone playing a Faith No More song, but i synched them when i recorded the song on the music editing software i use. Perhaps this hack will allow me to do it live?
thanks.

there's no adapter input but the batteries i use(d) last(ed) a long time (maybe it's easy to install an adapter input) i don't know about maplin (i'm from europe)

@listentomerijn I assume it can work with an adaptor. I'll ask in Maplin. They might sell them, they have all kinds of gadgets. Do you have Maplin in the States?

Are you saying you managed to actually remove the VL-1s silent step at the end of its sequence? if so, how?
Lordamum4d 2 months ago
no (that would be cool). the silent step replaces the last note of the sequence so it loops correct...

Did you use the programming features of the VL-1 to change the notes it plays and the bars where it doesn't play a sound?

record/program the notes in the vl-1 and when the bliptronic sends a trigger (1 trigger at the beginning of the bliptronic sequence) the vl-1 steps 1 step through the sequence you programmed; no trigger = nothing/rest :) (when you program the vl-1 and you loop the sequence you have to delete the last step of your sequence; at the end of a seqence there's allways "nothing/rest" step...)
