Best Super 8mm films made for various Cinemaker Festivals throughout 1998 and 1999. The compilation tape was juried.
Films used the 4x4 format:

- no more than four splices
- no longer than four minutes silent super 8 film
- films have to be titled
- films have to have a 5 second countdown prior to the first image frame - for sound syncing purposes at live events.

The vast majority of the films were one roll, in-camera edited works.
