Meadowview Construction was hired to carefully take down an old house right to the foundation and build a new home using much of the existing footprint. The new home was designed by Alex Coogan, a local architect and every attempt was made to blend the home into its natural surroundings. Many of the old pieces and parts were salvaged and incorporated into the new home. A custom kitchen was hand crafted by Meadowview Cabinetry, a division of Meadowview Construction. An unusual feature of the home was the exposed rafter tails which can be seen in the photo gallery. Marvin windows and shingle siding gave the home a coastal look while the interior contains many simple but classic details.
