Everyone, meet John. He was my classmate and bandmate in highschool. He's been itchin' to do a cover with me since early on. Finally I asked him what he wanted to do, and ironically enough, he said the one I had planned this week. Unfortunatly he's away at college, so he could only do it on his electric drumset. This was probably one of the most iconic songs from the game so I wanted to try some different mixing techniques. I wanted a bit more of a bass and treble filled sound, seeing as those are the focal points in metal. I've never been a fan of scooping mids, but then again, these projects are very much trial and error until I can settle on a certain way of going about mixing and mastering. Definily let me know how it sounds to you guys!

Cool cover! Would you ever consider showing the behind the scenes of the recording/mixing/mastering on a future cover? Think alot of people would find it interesting. Ive just been messing around with audacity and a USB mic but I'd like to see how you do yours.

I couldn't help but to notice in all of your videos you seem to have what I think is an Ibanez S470 on the background on your wall, yet I don't believe I've ever seen you use it in a video yet! She's so sexy... any chance we'll get to see her in action someday?

Just a quick question, but do you check the intonation of your guitar regularly?

@lullzyQ Pretty regularly, for the most part, I've never seemed to have intonation problems with this guitar. It's really a great guitar. :)

hey man, watched first of your video's today, loving the retro! quick tips, one, my computer has good speakers, but i can barely hear you (not a problem with other videos, just this one) maybe check the vid and levels before-hand, also, seemed like a little bit to much treble near the start, gave it a bit of a grating sound, but, still loving the work. awesome mate
