For those asking about not getting a 5.1 surround output from PC.
Please bear in mind that although this actual demo was uploaded in 5.1 Dolby Digital, it still remains that the true native sound output of Flash videos is 2.0 stereo only.Since YouTube works and runs on flash player, that means no 5.1 surround output ,but only in 2.0 stereo.Click the below link for a full explanation regarding how to hear this demo in 5.1 Dolby Digital surround.

  • If I rip it will it work in a home cinema set ?

  • @RestLessIP

    No it won't

  • yea i have a 600$ digital home cinema unit.....no 5.1 only 2.1 on youtube DX

  • @stormwalker100

Even if you would have a $6,000,000 digital home cinema ,if your system does not support Dolby Digital Prologic II ,you will still get audio in 2.0 only.

Dolby Digital Prologic II processes any high quality stereo signal source into six separate full frequency channels (right front, center, left front, right rear left rear, and LFE (sub woofer)).

  • @gerbilPROJECT Because YouTube doesn't support 5.1 audio.

  • @gerbilPROJECT

You need at least a prologicII surround system on your PC with a 5.1 speaker setup.

  • @OneVisionHD

    Its set right!

All other Dolby Prologic II videos on Youtube works great...

  • @Katalist1

Just go to the video response of this page and set your receiver's parameters accordingly.

  • @OneVisionHD

    It´s 3.1!

I´ve got a reciever with pro logic II and the sound for the rears comes out from the fronts...

  • my rear LR speaker working with same sound of front speaker LR. Why?

  • Youtube supports encoded prologic signals in two channels, but there´s no multi channel output from youtube, so uploading this 5.1 test on youtube has no sense at all.

  • I have a Logitech G51 and it works perfectly with the Matrix mode activated. ;-)

  • @OneVisionHD with the bose companion 5 is sooooooo awsome !!!!!!!!!! thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanks !!!!!!!!
