@nostalgiamelancolia1 It took me about 55 hours, driving nonstop, except for gas stops every 300 miles. I do enjoy roadtrips, although I do prefer the kind where I can stop and see the sights, although being near winter solstice, this trip was mostly done in the dark.

How long it took you to get from Fairbanks to Bozeman in Montana? I'm road enthusiast who enjoy traveling by car even more than by plane because I love watching the scenery.I traveled across the USA two times by car.one from Seattle to New York city round trip and another from Seattle to Florida one way only.next spring I will hit the U.S. highway back to Seattle once again.I just can't wait for it.

cool video, I would love to visit Alaska some day!
We're talking about 2 days and 7 hours roadtrip.I'm currently living in Tampa,Florida which it's the starting point of my roadtrip next year.I will take I-75 as far as upper Michigan then from there I will hit U.S. highway 2 all the way to Washington state.once I get to Washington,I will take I-90 that takes me right into Seattle. Here is list with the states that I've been driving through:Ga,Tenn,KY,OH,Michigan,Wis,Minnesota,ND,Montana,Idaho and finally Washington.

2 days and 7 hours of continuous driving, yes. At a reasonable pace, it takes more like 5-7 days of driving 8-10 hours a day.

wow, you said the day before it was -39F? So, in alaska what kind of motor oil do yo use? Here in NH it rarely gets that cold. I only seen it get to -20F here. I run 5w-30 in my GM car. I like alaska and would like to visit someday. do most people drive 4wd vehicles up there? can you get by with just a front wheel drive car?

@kwg2005 I stick with the 5W30 as well, but keep the engine warm, either by running, or with electrical pad heaters.

10mpg? Thats not very good at all. There must have been something wrong with your vehicle. Unless of course you were towing something. But even then, you should be getting better than 10mpg. Either way, nice video

@Vorash2002 Nothing wrong, just a TRD supercharger, and yes, I was towing my toy trailer. Overall I think I averaged ~15mpg
