Bruce introduces the "Greetings from Asbury Park" album .Bruce spoke of John Hammond, "one of the great legends of music production," and of manager Mike Appel, whose "incredible talking" got him a crucial audition with said legend. Tonight's album performance was dedicated "to the man who got me in the door. Mike Appel is here tonight — Mike, this is for you." He added, "We've never done it... hope we can do it!" (from Backstreets review of show)
@buckeyesrule10 Hey, one can only hope! We have that new Darkness box set to tide us over for a while at least.

Bruce needs to open EVERY show with this. It's a shame that this was probably only the second or third time we'd seen it on the Working on a Dream Tour.
And only because it was part of an album performance. Bring it out EVERY night, Bruce! And come back soon with these guys...you ain't that old!
