Wally Krauss plays:
1.) "When You're Smiling"(Shay, Fisher, Goodwin);
2.) "Avalon"(Al Jolson, Buddy DeSilva, V. Rose, 1920). In the great film 'Casablanca' (1942) you will hear "Avalon" played by Dooley Wilson("Sam") at the piano, right before he plays "As Time Goes By"(dubbed in). Lyrics:
"I found my love in Avalon/ Beside the bay. I left my love in Avalon/ And sail'd away. I dream of her and Avalon/ From dusk 'til dawn. And so I think I'll travel on To Avalon.
Just before I sail'd away She said the word I long'd to hear her say. I tenderly caress'd her Close to my heart I press'd her/ Upon that golden yesterday".// /

3.) "Tiptoe Through the Tulips"(Dubin & Burke,1927);
4)"In a Shanty in Old Shanty Town"(Joe Young, Little Jack Little, John Siras, 1932);
5)"Bye Bye Blackbird"(Mort Dixon & Ray Henderson,1926);
6)"Ain't She Sweet" (Milton Ager & Jack Yellen, 1926);
7) "If You Were the Only Girl in the World" (Nat. D. Ayre & Clifford Grey,1916). Pianist Wally Krauss was recorded in Williamston, Michigan in March, 2010.
