To all of you out there that are looking for particular inserts for this set, Blaster and Hobby boxes may actually have more of certain insert cards than others. As I am sitting here sleeving up all of these new cards, I am noticing that I got more of some inserts from retail or hobby packs than I did from this Jumbo. I am sure that this is because the purpose of the Jumbo is to have 3 GU cards, not necessarily more inserts. I don't have exact numbers, but if it is possible, I may actually tally up some numbers to show you what the REAL odds are of receiving a particular card. It might be too late because a lot of the cards I bought have sold, which will keep me from getting an accurate number. Never too late to start with this box.

I just got done sleeving and organizing these cards and, to my surprise, I got every base card in Series 1 in this box. That does NOT means it will happen to you, but I wanted you to know that it did happen. I tried the tally thing that I mentioned above and, basically, there was 1 of each insert per pack unless I got a thick GU card in that pack. You will still get inserts about 1 per pack out of other boxes, you will just pay less for them and get less base cards.

  • whats a base card?

  • @RedSoxNation92 -- Base cards are the simplest type of cards and are the most commonly collected by set builders. You will get the most of this type of card in every pack of cards. They are usually numbered into the 1-1000 number range and have a relatively plain style to the card. These can now be more easily confused with the many parallel sets that are made using the same photos, but changing simple things like the colors of the border, or other colors on the card.

  • @krisbenham thats why we all love you kris. lol ill just wait then until the price goes down. by the way i was going to make a vid of me opening 32 packs of 1988 topps but i opened them with my dad

  • @nitrousinhalement -- Series 2 wasn't out in January, so no one knew how much the price would drop. S1 was the first set of the year, everyone was excited to get the newest cards and bought a bunch, so the sellers increase the prices, which carries over to the next buyer. Eventually, it has to stop somewhere, and when it does, whoever has the boxes will never sell them for profit. That is why I do single cards at dirt cheap prices. I CAN resist the greed for more and more money.
