I know it's poor quality and you can't really hear it, but you can see what RPM it's at.... For some reason, it's taking a long time to drop the RPMs back to idle (900rpm or so). And if I let the clutch out a little until it grabs, the RPM goes down, but as soon as I let go it goes back up. Not sure what the issue is, but we'll see.

  • Sorry I never updated this. And thanks for the tips. I swapped out the IAC valve twice and checked a few other things. It turned out to be the throttle position sensor on the throttle body. I bought a new throttle body and it was running great ever since.

  • Sounds like a HUGE vaccum leak issue my friend. I can hear the leak in the vid lol, unless that's something else

  • look at your crank timing sensor. thats what was wrong with my dad's 05' ram.

  • vacuum leak? pcv valve. or maybe Idle air control valve. I see your engine is warmed up. If it's not going into closed loop due to the Coolant temperature sensor reading low ohms, it will keep the idle higher via the idle air control valve. If this is the case though the engine will run rich...slower than normal. I'd check vacuum leaks first though and listen for leaks while reving with the hood open. Ether spray works good too as the idle will change when you find the leak.
