I cycled from 0 to 1800m to reach the highest peak by road in Crete, Greece. 55km to the top of which 40 was constant, brutal, unforgiving ascent, totaling 110km upon return. I had no mp3 player, but this song from 4:20 onwards was haunting my mind playing on reluctant repeat all the way to the top, fueling my soul with unprecedented mental endurance and persistence. Whenever I am to give up in cycling or in life, I turn to this song to find the strength and counsel I need to keep me going.
