Ok planet we're up a solid 25 per cent on the eight thousand views....in here check again: the as-if-she-wrote -them lyrics read - plus the follow of the core melodies..with an ultra cool over-blow where Just Friends gets corny in line...Did he gaze, Mr Louis Armstrong from the ether upon this stage, and at the mic, his absolute ultimate product, as I understand this woman, Ms Betty Carter?

yes cliff after gaylord birch as if betty's trios weren't always ill.. i'm noticing key changes here...unprecedented, none dared.

I worry about a world in which there are 700,000 people actually studying jazz, all of whom own computers, and 692,000 of whom have not watched this astounding performance. To mix metaphors: you can't wrap your head around this much nerve. Five tunes, cold from vocal? A true jazz instrumental bandleader who carries no axe to the gig? Indeed. Watch this woman's CBS JAzz Ahead feature - she drills kids into being badass back-time be-boppers! "Amazon": thrill as she defends the planet at 224 bpm

The drummer here was Clifford Barbaro- I think Kenny Washington was hired after Clifford.- Brilliant performance by everyone.

@carlocoseca The bass player is Dennis Irwin. Not Erwin. Close!!!!!
