Sub 35?! Merry Christmas!!

The cubes used were: Combo cube (cube4you.com center+store cubies), cube4you.com DIY (a) (my oldest cube4you.com DIY), and cube4you.com DIY (the last one that I made, for WC, and 9.80 seconds solve at Toronto Open)
The music is "Go Go Chan!" (coffee prince OST, yah I'm kinda addicted to that right now).

  • Hi Harris, I watched some of your videos and instead of criticizing that tnose very past times were "set up", I think it would be better to ask your advice on how to improve our time. Do you mind if I ask you how do you see those pairs while those "little cubes" are moving very past? I would like to ask also if it is possible to make an x-cross with the kind of inspection you made on those 3 cubes? You don't have to answer if it is a secret. Thanks Harris.

  • It's called "looking ahead"...if you check on cubefreak you'll know what i mean. I don't do x crosses with 3 cubes in a row.

  • thanks Harris.I hope you won't mind another question. In your opinion, do you think Chambon created his own shorter algorithm because he can finished the cube in almost the same very fast time but somewhat slow in execution?

  • Not exactly shorter algorithms. Even though it *looks* like a slow execution, if you actually count the number of turns he makes (total number of moves) and then divide that by his solving time, you might find that he is turning faster than you think. The key is to not stop, no pauses. I can do his style and get 10-12s too

  • hi harris, I noticed that it took you just seconds to inspect the cubes. Did you memorize the cross solutions of these 3 cubes?

  • Nah, I just usually inspect and put the cube at an angle that shows the most cross pieces, and I inspect it while doing my PLL.

  • ah no, his talking about the three cubes in a row, harris did it in like 34 seconds and yu nakajima did it in 38, and nakajima is almost 10 second avg and still at 11 second, if you compare harris and nakajima at averages almost the same.

  • im talking about average not single

  • erik has been the offical fastest for over a year and a half almost 2 and nakajima rarely cubes anymore
