Salem appears to be a man of very sound thinking and experiences in his life. I hope that young radicalized men will eventually understand that their way of thinking is completely distorted. The Egyptian public want peace, not war.

"Whoever tells you a piece of bread is more valuable than freedom, is a thief and a liar...." Amen! This agrees with the Biblical proverb: "It is not good to show partiality [play favorites], because for a piece of bread, a man will transgress." This is a universal thing. I see this groveling for money as opposed to freedom and virtue in America all the time. It is so hard for the cause of goodness, and with it true freedom, to prevail in this world due to the inherent sinfulness of man.

@saady2u Europe was a bloodbath when under theocratic tyranny. The Enlightenment was only possible once the Church lost its iron grip. The advanced civilisations that Islam overran did continue to make progress until they were silenced by Islam over 1,000 years ago. What contribution to Mankind has come from any of the Islamic countries in the last 500 years let alone 150? Remind me how long is the Arab Muslim slave trade in Africa?

I think you have some grudge against islam because you seem to ignore all the contribution that islam has done for the and particular for europe. @saady2u On the contrary, Islam is a dead weight on the world. It has nothing to offer but an old text by an epileptic child molester and bandit. We have done rather better than that, just in the last 150 years look at what has been achieved. No Islamic contribution whatsoever. Oh, and if you think I prefer Christianity, no I don't. They want to claim for Islam the achievements of the advanced civilisations they overran (progress ended 1,000 years ago and not a single contribution from Arabia). It is the priesthoods who want you to believe in things that don't exist, discourage independent thought and regard 'faith' (ie belief without evidence) as the highest good. I think this guy is riddiculous and embarasment for all arabs in modern time. He is completely brainwashed. He says "life is the greatest thing allah has created for us" he also says "allah created us in order to enjoy this beautiful universe and in order to make it even more beautiful". Islam says life is sacred and u should not take ur own life. Also islam says "fighting has been prescribed on u but u dislike it" which show if we have to fight, we fight for the sake of allah and no one else

Well wat can i say? firstly i would like to hint that islam allows all these institutions to prosper such as economics, freedom and politics. the problem is, no contempoary leader is giving it a go. Omar bin khattab would be a great example for any leader to look up to provide shariah law and peace to the whole world.
