Followups are Battle Gear 2 and 3 on PS2 ( and also Battle Gear 4 at Arcades )
Battle Gear 3 has same Racingtracks ( of course by far better grafiks ... and same incredible drifting. BGear 3 is a must for GT Force users on PS2. Bad news : JAP only game.

This game reminds me of another arcade racer from Taito. Do you remember Continental Circus? That was just as fun. I got it on Taito Legends for the Xbox.
This game looks awesome too!
