This is my baby Glowing Axolotl legal to own in the United States bought at a Pet Store. These genetically modified axolotls glow green under a blue light. Scientists at the University of Kentucky modified the genetic makeup of the axolotls with Green Fluorescent Protein (GFP), the protein responsible for making jellyfish and other organisms glow naturally. The process doesn't hurt, and it's unlikely that the glowing axolotls know they are any different from their brothers and sisters found in their natural habitat in Mexico.

what color are these ones that glow, i know there is pink and gold albino and grey ones but the first 2 seem more logical.
