  • Cynthia McKinney served 4 yrs in the Georgia state legislature before she was the first Black American woman elected to U.S. Congress from the state of Georgia. She was then elected to Congress SIX times for a total of 12 years. Which is more than can be said for persons posting insulting and disparaging remarks to this site abt the former congresswoman. Her son and both her parents all have now joined the Green Party. That is the way the Greens will advance within the Black American community.

  • I don't see how she's crazy? You probably voted for George Bush!

  • Love to Cynthia Mckinney from Pakistan.

  • green is the future ..no matter how long will take

  • Ahh I was wondering why she was wearing a scarf. Although she didnt need to because even some of the Aljazeera female news casters dont cover their hair. She prob did out respect

  • @bonsmom Well then in your opinion what is a reliable independent news source?

  • @maszlagma Gee, you could be right. I saw a clip of Hillary Clinton extolling the 'virtue' and value of Al Jazeera as a reliable news source for EVERYONE. I must admit that she might just be on to something if we compare that organization with ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC and all of the other sychophant "journalistic" outlets; especially those in the US.

    Thanks for enlightening me.

  • @bonsmom Al Jazeera is not the promoter of "radical Islam". It is an independent news station based in Doha, Quatar.

  • green is the future

  • @BritishAussie "Ecological wisdom & "Social Justice" sound warm & fuzzy but are not contained in our Constitution. As a Nation of LAWS, there are methods by which even the Constitution can be changed.

Ms McKinney, under the First Ammendment of the U.S. Constitution, is free to say whatever she wants.......to make statements on a network owned by the people we are at war with is, at least, inappropriate.

BTW...not, now, not EVER a 'dude'.

  • @bonsmom Dude, calm down! If you don't know what ecological wisdom is, go and find out what is means first before you slam it as unconstitutional , you look like a fool.
