Yeah i totally agree e541210, Kurt used an Epiphone dot and a Sheraton on that record 'The Next Step' and he sounds fine on that, still sounds like Kurt! I think you need to get good and be a mutherfucker at playing before you worry about your equipment, Kurts only in the past few years been really seriously upgrading his equipment to top notch stuff and its like he can at this point.
