we are also trying new armatures out too they are called "viper",dont know whos makes them we just call em "viper motors".all said and done a motor of this type runs about 45.00 ready too run. so far they have worked with our cars well. my car is the orange car on the outside lane wackin the wall at 1:53 in the video.

the bodies are 1/24 amt nascar bodies,sides,fenders and quarters are cut off,flat styrene is then added to make doors fenders and quarters. finished they lok like a dirt late model.chasis are pro track stamped nascar type,motors are parma stock 502 & 499s,gold dust brushes and maybe comm cut thats it,they weigh between 7 and 8 oz.

Those cars need V8 sound chips, then they wouldn't sound like mice in blenders.

I love slot car racing its so much fun. and i have a really nice 1/24 scale Parma car. And a Turbo controller.

It's in my friends basement in the Mt. Greenwood/Chicago area. Just off of 107th Kedzie if your local.

dont you find it plain to jsut old down the remote and watch all of the mgo at the same speed or is this the tpye where you have to point your remote to the car for it to move?

These are open comp cars. Different motors, gears etc. and we add weight to them. You can't just hold the controller down and go. If you hold it down all the way your off the track in the first corner. We even have break knobs on the controllers so we can control the coast of the cars when we let off the gas.
