I mourn the passing of one of the drumming world's true giants of innovation. I have admired Richie's grooves and style my whole life and I love everything he played on - not just the Feat's stuff but all his side projects too. I will miss Richie's influence in my drumming life although I was never lucky enough to meet him. xx

Richie passed away this morning. May he & Lowell be jamming (not resting) tonight.

@LittleFeatArchive Ritchie was and is a huge influence on my playing. His style is like no other.Had the pleasure to open for the Feat in 1998 at the Odeon Concert Club in Cleveland and I was like a sissy in Boys Town.God bless Ritchie Hayward.

Blessings to Richie. Good to see the shirt design used here. Too bad the poster wasn't used, amazing hand-lettering. I enjoyed making the shirt design and can't wait to get one.
LF Crew, let me know if you need anything, I have a great album layout for Feat. I knew Richie from Topanga and was raised on the music, favorite band for 20+ years.

I have just added this description to the video for those who may not have heard about Richie's ailment.
Richie Hayward, legendary drummer and one of the original founders and members of Little Feat, now celebrating their 40th year, is having to take an indefinite amount of time off to treat a severe liver disease.
In the year to come, he will be facing treatments, possible transplant, no work/performing, no income, and no insurance.
