Halloween 2009 at Ricky's House

Here's a look at the decorations at my house for Halloween 2009. Other than the ballroom scene, the Haunted Mansion theme from the past was dropped this year in favor of something a little spookier.

New this year:
- Enhanced graveyard with pumpkin patch
- Something sinister going on inside the garage/dungeon
- Spider's lair around the front door featuring a corpse dropping down to startle visitors

We had around 60 trick-or-treaters and saw a great assortment of reactions to the new decorations. Many were excited and even came back multiple times bringing additional friends and relatives to see everything. Some groups all screamed and laughed together when the body dropped at the front door. And a few small children were too afraid to even come up to the door, so we went down the driveway to give them candy. No one left without candy!
