  • What is the record number of this Blue Amberol? Isn't it # 1521?

  • @EnerG15 Yes you are correct. This is Blue Amberol #1521. Thank you for watching.

  • Sounds like your motor is much quieter then mine. The V is a nice machine and the auto stop works great. May I suggest that you look at the anti flutter pins. They are easy to miss and are located on the left side of the fly wheel. It sounds as though they are broken or missing. With those installed properly the flutter will go away entirly. I have about 50hrs of time spent on 2 different Vs so if you need help just ask.

  • Thanks very much for the comment and the suggestion. I will take a look at those flutter pins and see if they are missing or broken.

  • the anti flutter pins are there, not broken and appear to be in good shape. Thanks for the suggestion.

  • Do I hear the Heidleberg Quintet singing in the background w/ the GREAT Billy Murray?

  • You are partly correct, over at Edison they were called the Premier Quartet and also with the wonderful Mr. Billy Murray as the lead Tenor of the group.

  • @AngelaRed Do you know if Lilian Lorraine is the original singer of this this song? 1907?

  • I would like to know how many wax cilinders could be reproduced per singing?

Heard this song somewhere else quite bit different.....

Did Eda Jones has to sing the same song to reproduce each individual wax cilinder?

Please if anyone outhere really knows about this issue please let me know....

  • Love Ada's voice it's so cute.

  • incredible¡¡¡, was she the first pop singer?

  • Why did they call it Amberola? It always makes me think of te stone named amber:-)
