Cirrus Design has unveiled their LSA entry barely 24 hours after the aviation world got a gander at the Cessna SkyCatcher... the LSA business looks like it's heating up!

Saw the SRS @ AOPA Expo 2007 in Hartford, CT. It'll sell well for sure.
Looks like loads of fun to fly... of course!

thats an oversimplification sunmanav8, taxes, ridiculous salary demands (with annual raises),insurance and other costs make industries outsource.Of course they go where profit to cost margins are in their favor! Google BUSINESS,welcome to the free market.

I have one of these SRS. Here in Europe it is called FK 14 POlaris and is manufactured by FK technik. I can tell you it is a extraordinary plane to fly, economical and also quite roomy.
have fun

The LSA movement is exciting. However, it's disturbing that both Cirrus and Cessna have to go outside the USA to build these at prices to compete with other LSA's on the market which are primarily imported. Read the book "Take this Job and Ship It" to better understand how America is being sold out. How do we grow this - or any other - industry if we're outsourcing our market.
