that is exactly the problem, war is NOT a legal issue. it is WAR, these people are not subject to the same laws a citizen of America is if they accused of murder or rape. they are ENEMY COMBATANTS. they fight on the side of the ENEMYS of the United States. @puffytooth Canada is not doing fine, just so you know. We aren't quite as bad as the US right now due to the sub prime fiasco from dodd,reid, frank, pelosi. We ran a huge deficit last year as well, bought 6% of GM ect. our health care system is not the greatest, you would think Obama would have learned from us about public funded healthcare, its very inefficient economically, and wait times for surgeries are very long. The subprime thing was driven by greed, some won, most lost.

As for your illegals comment, use your brain. We don't have to deport them all. You start holding businesses accountable, stop creating safe havens for them (i.e. sanctuary cities), then a great number of them will leave on their own. You want to talk about costs? The enforcement of our laws and deportation will cost a fraction of what it costs now with them using welfare and other programs funded by the taxpayers in addition to health care and other things. They are costing us BILLIONS.
