  • I would agree actually, I have Bruce's version and this one. I first heard this version about a year ago when I was driving home from my ex-girlfriends. This version is such a beautiful song. her voice is cutting and the melody is haunting and chilling. I was almost mezmerized. With all due respect to Bruce for coming up with this song originally, but this cover is something different, it's special, and it's better.

  • No disrespect to Bruce, he's great and his half time show at the superbowl was awesome, but very rarely (and I'm not often a fan of covers) someone comes along and improves on an original. My opinion is that this is one of those songs, and it's fine if you don't agree, but lets not turn it into an argument, just enjoy the music which ever version you prefer.

  • This is just superb. well done

  • it's called I'm On Fire.

  • Very special cover. Totally different from Bruce Springsteen's own special song.

  • No, it is a Bruce Springsteen song originally!

  • The song I'm on Fire by Bruce Springsteen has nothing to do with the Johnny Cash song.'Ring of Fire'.

  • this is very strange but it's also haunting and unique. she has definitely put her own spin on this and I like it actually. she's a very talented lady with a great energy.

  • it's called i'm on fire, from the born in the usa album. it's not a johnny cash song.

  • I hate the Tori version

  • it dosen't sound like it no, its just a peculiar choice for a song thats all

  • lots of people do lots of covers of songs, but that doesn't mean they're trying to 'be' someone else. they all put their own spin on it (or at least try to).

this cover sounds NOTHING like the tori amos cover..
