The Pulsar has been replaced by the Stereo Pulsar. For more Stereo Pulsar product info, see:
http://www.ehx.com/products/stereo-pulsar

The Stereo Pulsar generates vintage tremolo and panning that will fill any venue with rhythmic stereo energy. Its Wave Form switch allows you to change the modulation from triangle to square form. The Wave Shape control allows you to control transitions from negative to positive saw tooth or adjust pulse width. This all means you can create any type of stereo tremolo from pure vintage to ones never heard before.

* Stereo outputs

* Tough and compact die-cast chassis

* 9-volt battery included

* Optional 96DC-200BI power supply available

  • What makes me laugh is how people have to select different pedal companies and then they instantly hate all other pedals. Have some variety, I have EHX, BOSS and Digitech and lots of others.

  • Electro Harmonix kicks BOSS ass. BOSS is all about just putting effects out there that will make you sound like every other guitarist in rock music. EHX allows you take it a step further, and then a whole lot more.

  • They need to release the "Pulse Modulator".

  • anyone want to sell me their big box pulsar? i like the way the old ones look more than the new one.

  • this ones really good. i also like the zvex tremolo. but that one takes WAY too much fooling around for me

  • ehx= mother f'ing cool

  • Whatever makes you feel good makes you play good.

    I like my Boss compression/sustain box, I love my old EH Hot Tubes (not the new one with the same name), I really dig my Shin-Ei wah with siren switch, but I also like some of that Behringer "cheap shit". Why not? Depends what you want to use it for. Who knows, in 20 years time people may start looking for that special Behringer overdrive... one that's not broken :-)

    But hey, EH did give us some great pedals that no-one else came up with!

  • I hear ya! I'm running pedals from BOSS, Electro-Harmonix, Guyatone, and MXR. If you stick to one brand, you never know what you're missing out on.

  • agreed. ElectroHarmonix is the only large corporation that makes unique pedals - EHX pedals are more unique and playable than any boutique company and yet cost a fraction of the price.

    MXR and Boss pedals are well made but you can feel the mass produced feel when you play them - they make you sound like your hero. EHX pedals turn you into one.

  • Electro Harmonix pedal = best things made by mankind

  • BOSS is for backups and last resorts, that's what i say.

  • I just managed to find one of these. I can't wait to create some landscapes (more than any other pedal out there) once it arrives!
