I thought that when I first saw them in 1987 aged 16. But at this gig managed to meet Bono and Edge (and Jo Whiley) thanks to Willie Williams (the guy who we sang happy birthday to) and of course made it that extra bit special!

i was at this gig having missed out on elevation 2001 and the vertigo 2005 tours,but this was a fantastic night and made up for it.the best £35 spent ever, even though we were at the back

IMHO this song done live represents the greatest moment in rock music. My 16 year old son was with us at Don Valley last night (his first big gig) and reckons it's downhill all the way from now!!
