  • Thumbs down.

  • Sifu Davis has touched hands with Jesse Glover. In his opinion, Glover exerts too much pressure during Chi Sao, so maybe it's simply a case of different courses for different horses. In addition, Davis teaches Bruce Lee's material from the Seattle, Oakland, and L.A./Chinatown Period. To my knowledge, Glover's material focuses on the techniques taught during the Seattle Period.

  • Chud: Ah, no it's not. Bruce Lee did not incorporate a single technique from Muay Thai into his art. The Muay Thai fighting stance does not resemble the JKD Bai Jong stance in any way, shape, or form. Muay Thai techniques also lack the economy of motion present in JKD. Please do your homework before posting on Bruce Lee's art.

  • jkd is bs muay thai

  • Something special? Sifu Davis didn't state that he was reinventing the Wing Chun wheel. His point is that learning chi sao is an important piece of the JKD puzzle. Nothing more, nothing less. Wing Chun is the foundation of JKD and Bruce Lee's inclusion of boxing and fencing concepts is what makes this martial art special.

  • Well, tim, bob, ted, dan, jesse, tommy, & jeremy would be very impressed with the conduct of a vulgar, biggoted jerk like you who wastes his life making profaine remarks about people and their nationalities. Try and act like a man for once and not a such childish suck. We might bump into eachother at a seminar some day soon(not potter or inosanto though) then you can talk all the trash you want boy. You're a disgrace to jkd, and I refuse to lower myself to your level any further.

  • ha it took you three days to answer back i train with different jkd students such as jerry poteet tim tackett bob bremer ted wong dan inosanto jesse glover tommy carruthers jeremy lynch who do you train with? nobody you just sit in your house typing on youtube and tryin act like you got big balls but they shrink as soon as someone steps to you come to la if not keep your mouth shut pussy

  • Gutsberserk99jkd you are one of "Jerry's kids?" haha, it figures, no surprise. You're insults are truly as weak and pathetic as you are.

Jerry Poteet wasn't invited to the 35th anniversary function for the Bruce Lee Foundation in Seattle this year for a VERY good reason. We both know what that reason is don't we? Why waste my time going all the way to LA to 'spar' with a egotistical, rascist, loud-mouth punk like you or to meet your wannabe 'sifu' who doesn't impress me or anyone else.

  • nothing special here just another 35 year old loser with a gay ass name like wolfgath whos getting cyberbullied by a 27 year old that trains with original bruce lee students some of the ones that you have in your favorites but i dont know anything about jkd why dont you come to la and train with me maybe we can spar ill introduce you to my sifu jerry poteet

  • Nothing special here. Maybe LMD would be better off learning chi sao from Jesse, then his students that post his vids wouldn't call it chi soup.

@gutbuster99jkd - Your attempts at cyber-bullying are a joke, spare everyone your childish insults and quit acting like a brainless loser. Obviously you dont know anything about jkd therfore must talk trash instead. Get a life and stfu already.
