dolphins approaching a boat are typically friendly. However, if they're making hostile gestures such as snapping their jaw at you it's best to keep your distance. Also, a lone dolphin at a beach is far less likely to be aggressive. These dolphins are known as "ambassadors". They're called that because they're always without a pod and are almost always friendly, to a fault. The only time I've ever seen an ambassador dolphin become violent is when they're physically abused by dumbass tourists.

For all of you people that are too stupid to read the comments by the uploader: This is a dolphin sanctuary where the dolphins are free to come and go as they please. They are NOT captive dolphins. Don't be ignorant sheep. Read what the video actually is before you make yourself look dumb.

As my previous intro is well done the page: this is was filmed at a rescue sanctuary in Florida where the Dolphins can leave if they want to. The Dolphins are those that have been caught in nets and beached etc. The comment from the phalluses says more about that person than anything.
