Avatar mouse steering
How can I move in a more natural way? Mouse steering makes it easier to move naturally in different directions, and is really easy. Left-click-and-hold anywhere on your avatar, then move your mouse to steer. Move your mouse and your avatar will go. To go forward, use the forward arrow, the "8" key or the "w" key as you continue to move your mouse. This helps you navigate tight spaces. When you are done, simply release your mouse.

sadly havok 4 broke most huggers and disabled that break system when walking (you also can no longer do that in the air, you can slow fall down, but cant move forward or sideways etc)

My system is so slow (video is a little less than the recommended minimum :) that this is the only way I can move around in SL. I love it. On thing you can mention is that if your avi is moving around, dancing or something, and hard to click on, you can click on your name tag above your head. It's the same as when you click on your avi.
Thanks, You're the best, Torley!

Thank you so much!! Another thing thats awesome about this is you can swing the camera around and watch your AV walking from the front

Thanks Torley, I consider myself to be pretty knowledgable in Second Life but I had no idea about this little gadget!

Good for posing yourself for photos, much easier than going into mouse look and 'leaving' yourself in the assumed position and hoping its right when you zoom out. OK ya, super.

Thank you Torley... Is there a link to these videos (at least the ones about moving your avatar) in orientation ? That would be cool
