@amazinero I'm sure the last sentence would suffice when surrounded by music snobs. However it still has the principle of hip hop having a 2/4 or 1/3 beat. Most people seem to call this glitch hop; Most notable artist in this field are Dabrye, Hudson Mohawke, Mike Slott & Machine Drum. I'm sure there are others that I have left out or simply have not heard of yet. However don't get too caught up in the 'correct' classification of the genre. You know, I don't wanna mention his name all fucked up-like in some social situation while surrounded by music snobbery and sorts. While you're in a talkative mood. . .what would you call this type of music? Fly-lo, Ras-G, Dilla did it, Dabrye, Samiyam, etc. I wouldn't say it's Hip Hop, cause some of this stuff, you just can't rap to. It's like some sort of avante garde hip hop/experimental fusion genius shit.
