hmmmm. those 50,000 lbs. of soil will help the ram not deter it: it's pliable and pushing out; all you'd need to do is puncture the wall, and that soil will take care of the rest.

this is boring as hell!!!!
-
HELLO!! I THINK THAT THEY USED THE RAM ON THE CITY DOORS , NOT THE WALLS.

It would not be effective to recreate the hardware every time. The metal, at least, would be carried from city to city, as would most of the timber. To piece build such a device every time is just not cost efficient.

Anyone notice the bows on the left are strung the wrong way in 1:13 ?

It's amazing what people can pull off when they really, REALLY want to kill each other.
My favorite is when the Alexander turned an Island into a peninsula, one stone at a time.

This is stupid they should have reconstruct it not with modern tools...

"Were going to rock the casbah" lol what a fuckin wally

"We're gonna rock the casbah" "I want ten blows" "Ah, the tea's here" ...... I'm just saying.
Thanks for posting this, Titus. Brings back many fond memories of two amazing weeks in Morocco.
