  • What was on the wall, that he attached the tapestry to....was it just double sided tape on the back of the tapestry that stuck to the wall, and did the tapestry look like it had a sleeve at the top if it was just taped on the wall?? I dont' understand this video well, I hope someone finds this message and explains this to me some.....

  • @SingWithInNow Thanks for watching! The tapestry was hung up with industrial-strength Velcro tape, so one part was stuck to the fireplace and the other to the back of the tapestry and the two pieces stuck together to form a strong bond. There was a sleeve made at the bottom of the tapestry and a small iron rod was inserted into the bottom to weight the piece so it would hand straighter and flatter.

  • Hi! Was that double sided tape you were using? Thanks, Carole, Atlanta

  • Hi, Carole (in beautiful Atlanta)! Many thanks for watching this video. Yes, it's a special "industrial strength" double-sided tape, almost like a duct tape. The fellow working with Irwin is a professional museum hanger and he swears by it. Have a great day! Best, Jay
