Faith and Action president Rev. Rob Schenck is at the National Press Club. He talks with attorney Kelly Schackelford of Liberty Legal Institute about his role in defending a Veteran's Memorial Cross against assualts by the ACLU and atheist groups.
You are attempting to invoke patriotism to force your narrow-minded evangelical agenda in to public policy. Any symbol of our country must be, by definitions laid out in our constitution, secular. This is what the founding fathers intended.
The comparison to Arlington National Cemetery is a scare tactic. Cemeteries are non-secular places where religious symbols are entirely appropriate. Christian symbols, or those of any other religion DO NOT belong there on public property!!!!
