Biking with two big dogs makes most people cringe when they see us pass by. But, they are both so well-behaved I have no worries. With the local leash laws, they both must be tethered to my bike, so I put one on either side. Ozz, the pit is so much slower than Doble the doberman, so we go for about 20 minutes, then drop the pitbull back at home before heading out for a "dobie" session.
Ozzy is always happy to go, and happier to get back home LOL! He gets a big bone when ever we get back.
I still use the prong on the pit because without it he does pull me over and off my bike. He doesn't pull at all with the prong on (of course).

  • wow two dogs hooked up to the bike with a video camera and you survived lol i am impressed! they are adorable :)

  • @Jenna1789 It was interesting the first several times I took them both for a bike ride. I was pulled off my bike a few times. LOL! But, after some trial and error, we have got it down and everyone looks forward to it everyday. :-)

  • Thank you.:-) I work with them daily.I have had some comments about the collar from people from other countries.I only started using it because a trainer I know from the Tom Rose school showed me about the collar.I don't need it with my dobie anymore, but with my pitty,I have to use it when biking, otherwise he will take me where he wants to go dragging me & my bike;that hurts! With the prong,I don't have to do anything because he corrects himself if he suddenly lunges the wrong direction.

  • Glad to see you have your prong placed in the correct spot. A lot of people place it too low on the neck which has the potential to cause injury! And good for you for being so active with your dogs! Something I hope to get into more!

  • Very Nice dogs N in such good shape. Do you get comments about your pinch collar? I know alot of people hate it without understanding how it is used in the proper hands. Thank-you for your nice comments on our dogs. I'm not up there with the real big breeders, but my dogs are the same quality. I just don't play that politcal game nor the thousands of dollars it takes. I do my own thing and have found that I have become very proud of the litters I produce and the homes they have gone to. TY
