@kirimikium Thanks for the heads up. That it's epoxy on the inside as opposed to ceramic actually explains a lot, for example the relative lightness and the resistance to cracking. I hope the bottle I had was post-2009! Well, I've got an all-metal one now of a different brand. I can't remember off the top of my head, but it's a little annoying to drink from. Seals up tight, though.

@DemonHide it's not ceramic inside, it's EPOXY, and they've leeched harmful BPA's prior to 2009, even though they lied about it for years. Now SIGG has gone public with an announcement that all of their bottles are completely BPA free, thanks to their new "EcoCare" powder-based, co-polyester coating. - not "ceramic", just F.Y.I.

Since u don't clean ur water bottle everyday that disgusting taste ur referring to is probably algae which is the same color as ur bottle :) Algae is a non-flowering plant (as in seaweed) that contains chlorophyll but lacks vascular tissue.

@Protoplayer9217 A "Sigg" is perhaps a more accurate term, if that is what ppp123 is referring to. I have one that's highly dented but still works fine: They're tough bottles. Metal on the outside, ceramic on the inside. Just another way to port some liquid sustenance.
