I am a LAK (20) years and have ben thinking about this, the only reason I havent done it is I am scare that I will have a crash on my bike and the limb will cause my thigh bone to shatter and they will not be able to fix it and then I would end up with a shorter stump (my stump now is cut right above the knee joint ( knee ripped apart in my accident) so I have a long stump now but I am fearfull that it would break in a crash or something as my knee and foot would not break the thigh bone would.
