In this video we review the new Lumiotec OLED lighting panel. OLED is the future of lighting: efficient, bright and thin panels. We show you the Lumiotec panel and also compare it with OSRAM's ORBEOS and Philips' Lumiblade OLED panels. The Lumiotec panel is brighter and much bigger than the other two.

I cant wait until OLEDs wallpapers come out!
Imagine having your walls and ceilings change to a starry night or a beautifull sunset or a surreal scenery or a huge aquarium with just a push of a button.

@mertero Thanks a lot for the answer. I'm excited about OLEDs as I like the bigger emitting area. I'd love to light my living room with just a strip of OLED under the ceiling, but that's not happening for a while yet. ^_^

How efficient is it? How much power does it draw and how efficient is it compared to CFLs?

@Magnulus We're not sure yet ho efficient it is. But it's likely to be around 20lm/W - this is not very effective, but OLEDs will be able to reach up to 150lm/W in the future according to the most recent research. Remember that these panels are currently mostly samples.
A CFL can be around 50lm/w to 100lm/w
